Experiencing Tiger Safari at its Best

Before starting the tour there are a few essentials to be kept in mind so that the experience is wholesome and comfortable, enjoyable and memorable!

  • Best Months for tiger sighting are between Novembers to February. So don’t visit in the hot months or else your experience will turn out to be very boring and tiring.
  • Always carry lots of water to avoid dehydration. Because you will surely not find any of that in the middle of the jungle!
  • Do carry your camera. You will want to record each and every moment of your trip!
  • Wear light clothing to avoid bug bites and sweating.
  • Don’t carry excessive baggage.

Safari in India usually is for 3-5 days at a minimum in which they cover a lot of destinations besides the tiger reserve. The safari’s includes a trip of the city where the national park is located. The trip focuses on the culture and historical monuments of the city, bird watching activities (if present) too besides the tiger safari. There are options also available for weekend trips which are only about 2 days. They only include a trip to the tiger reserve.

Tiger safari starts early morning as tigers are spotted in quiet periods and secluded spots. They can be seen near water bodies in the morning. So trips are done in the early morning as the sun is also not too bright and the air is cool. The timings for safari are both in the morning and evening. Usually the morning trips start from as early as 6:00 AM and evening trips end as late as 7:00 PM.

You will not get to ride in our Chevrolets and Volvo’s!!  Your common vehicles are not allowed in the park. You will either get a ride on an elephant’s back or 20 seater open top canter or 6 seater open top gypsy. So be prepared for a jumpy and exhilarating ride!!
